About this mod Skyrim Children Refine is a standalone, simple, and faithful NPC appearance package of 40+ child NPCs, staying true to the vanilla game and lore while incorporating some of my personal preferences. Children now have new eye colors, textures, skin details, and hair colors that vaguely reflect their parents. Compatible with your own textures. To each their own!Over the years I've started to make my own changes, fixing the problems I've noticed – maybe this is the "overhaul" you've been looking for.In the base game, most children are left with race default hair colors, skin colors, and have brown eyes due to lacking texture sets.Now all children are given distinct hair colors, eye colors, skin tones, or blemishes that reflect their parents and improve diversity.Additional changes have been made, including minor "bugfixes" and improvements to compliment other mods. Like my Refine Series.Because the newly added face textures are detail maps and eyes are texture sets, this mod is entirely compatible with your own textures.This also means that there is no need for patching child NPCs added by other mods. However, expansions may be added at later dates.The scope of this plugin is to provide as minimal of changes as possible. Thus, not all eye colors are covered, and no new hairstyles are added.To ensure this mod plays nicely with ENBs and weather mods, minimal changes have been made to skin color unless deemed necessary.
