About Uad solo
Tried to find out what the issue is. OTOH, they do own a 2013 Mac Pro that showed similar behaviour. #8 I will try without all the nvme disks sharing the same bus. Will update you when i have tested. Thanks for the reply! #9 I'm having the same kind of problem with my AM5 Gigabyte X870E AORUS Master mobo using a Ryzen 9900x.My UAD-2 Quad PCIe card shows up in device manager. It even recognizes it as an Audio DSP Accelerator. But it says this device has a problem and cannot start.Did moving M.2 drives around fix your issue? Any solution/progress?My sense is that it either has to do with the PCIe gen #, or that the PCIe lanes communicate via the chipset (SouthBridge) instead of talking directly to the CPU. BTW, my UAD-2 Quad PCIe card worked fine on my old AM4 Ryzen build with a 5800x3d on a Gigabyte X570 AORUS Elite Wifi motherboard. #10 unfortunately no. I tried removing all nvme disks, leaving just the main one. No luck. I also tried the different pci slots. Latest bios and uad software is installed #11 Try pci ex 16 (long slot) #12 My email to Gigabyte support….The UAD-2 SOLO, DUO and QUAD cards use an earlier generation FPGA that supports 12 addresses, which was the previous standard implementation.The UAD-2 Octo cards (which are working) are based on a later generation FPGA, which can support 36 addresses with compatible firmware. If not PLEASE can you fix the issue. ASROCK and ASUS have addressed the issue and released Bios updates.UAD sent Gigabyte a Solo card on my behalf in Sept 2021….Gibabyte then sent me a bios that worked with the solo…I uploaded this Bios and Shared it in the thread on GS….I did ask Gigabyte to address this issues
