This remaster was made mainly for 3 reasons. The first one is for archiving reason, the second is to allow people that doesn't want to download a leaked version of Half-Life 2 (the original mod runs only on the 2003 leaked source engine) to play the mod on a newer version of the Source engine, and the third reason is because i could add some tweaks to the mod.
