You can always add back tones and white balance.It probably wouldn't be for every scene, and as I said there are multiple ways to achieve this, magenta, green, sepia... I'm seriously thinking about sepia for certain scenes that don't have much color to begin with. The problem is then that your camera does not see that type of colour anymore though.You can get rid of chromatic aberration automatically in Lightroom and Photoshop. Provided its not thick or its not creating purple/green blobs in your image you can fade it to grey and never notice that it was there.
