Cardi B (married name Belcalis Marlenis Almanzar Cephus, born Belcalis Marlenis Almanzar) Early life[]Cardi B was born on October 11, 1988 in The Bronx, New York City to Clara Mercedes Disla Arzeno, a Trinidadian/Spanish cashier & Carlos Alberto Almánzar Marsan, a Dominican taxi driver. She was raised in the Highbridge neighborhood. She spent a lot of time at her grandma's home in Washington Heights, which she credits with giving her such a thick accent.
