About Winsockfix

I should tell you that I received several error messages while the status screen came up. However, it did allow me to complete the task as long as I clicked "ok". I have always been able to access the internet through IE, but could not download Mozilla Firefox and connect to the internet. I also could not pull op Google Chrome, even after the WinSockFix.
