In the mouse modifiers settings it would be nice be able to use button 4 and button 5 also? These could duplicate any possible ones like left click, right click, middle click, etc? One of the main reasons is I would like to have a certain action so I can speed up my workflow but it requires the use of the middle button to click. The middle button, also being the scroll wheel, is a bit difficult to manage. Since I have to use this twice in a row with shortcuts, it can be a bit of a pain at times. A possible fix would be to use autohotkey to remap mouse 4 for example to the middle mouse click, then Reaper would accept it. Obviously if you use this at all outside of Reaper (as back button for browsers, for example) this will be fiddly, however I believe there is a way to make an autohotkey script latch onto particular applications. yup apparently that's possible: 05-15-2017, 08:01 PM #6 Banned Join Date: Nov 2015 Posts: 406 A better solution is for reaper to implement it properly. It probably is relatively simple to do since it is just a duplication of what already exists. It might even just be a few lines of code which means just a few minutes of programming.
